Halloween Fun!!

This Halloween was so easy--well costumes were easy! Sydney loves princesses and Aunt Becky gave her a super fun dress up princess dress that she attempts to wear to church every single Sunday, so I decided she would be a princess. I used a princess camp crown... so I had to buy/make nothing.

Landon decided to be a half zombie football player. He had the jersey. I had him bring me old jeans and we ripped and marked them up. Then I bought 98 cent face paint.

Seth wanted to be Detective Spiderman... then he shortened it to just a detective. His was the most work and money--still not bad. He used one of my old coats, after searching amazon as well as grandma's closet, he decided my old mustard jacket was perfect. He already had the hat and bow-tie. He just needed a magnifying glass.

We always spend Halloween with our Hiser friends. It's become tradition. :) This year though, we saw them day and night! They had us over for games during the day and dinner that night.

The kids all dressed up, except for Miss Sydney who wanted to wear her crown but refused to put on the dress.

O Sydney's 1st princess get-up. When we got home from the Hiser's I tried to talk her into her dress... again... We wanted to trick or treat at a few houses before going to our ward's trunk or treat. She would not wear the dress, but she happily put this little poofy cheerleader shirt thing on.

After we trick or treated at a few houses Sydney had the ol' Halloween bit down! And she was excited. She still didn't want to wear her dress--until Daddy said he would wear it. Then she flipped and snatched it away and put it on.

After party and trick or treating she was kind of a rag-a-muffin princess. Haha. Her hair was a mess!

My kids love the trunk or treat because they all get to see their friends :)

This was while we were trick or treating. At our friend Kathie's house. She is Sydney's nursery leader and Sydney is pretty sure she is the best! We love her!
