Later. . .

Landon never ceases to make me laugh. Apparently I tell him things are coming "later" quite often.

So he asked me in the morning, "Are we going to Casen's house?" I

I said, "Yeah, I think so, but later."

A couple of hours later we're driving to Casen's and he says, "Where are we going?"

I answered, "Casen's house, remember?"

He says in shock, "What? You mean it's later??"

I said, "Yeah, it's later." and laughed.

Then he started. Oh my. . . I can't even remember everything. He says, "You said we could watch sponge bob LATER, you said we could have candy LATER, . . . " He went through all these things that at some point in his little life I said would happen later.

I guess I never really think about it. Whenever we go to the store and he wants something I always say, "Maybe for Christmas or your birthday." I wonder if that's gonna come back to bite me the butt too.
