Seth's Pirate

Seth and I went to the grocery store today. . . always an adventure. Today was no different. We made pretty good time, I was excited to see there was a check out at . . . .walmart opened. Wow, I know. Anyway, we got in line and I started putting my millions of groceries on the convaer belt. The checker lady had only rung up like 2 things when this man got in line behind us. We were in the tobacco line, the only place where people can get that crud. This man didn't have one item, so he was only in line for his crud. I felt bad, I would have let hiim go ahead of me and my gazillion items, but she'd already started, so I didn't. This man also had a patch over one eye. Seth likes to (as many of you know) growl or wrinkle up his face in a grumpy way at people. IDK why, but he does, I'm constently telling him to be polite. So, Seth is saying something to the guy in his grouchy voice while I'm putting stuff on the belt.

Then I hear him he says, "You a pirate."

The guy, "No, I'm not. Only on Halloween."

Seth, "It not Halloween. YOU a pirate."

So again , I remind him to be polite and anxiously smile at the man while still putting crap on the belt. Seth's still talking to him.

I hear him say, "You have two eyes?"

The guy, "Nope, not anymore."

Seth, "You show me."

The guy, "No."

Seth, "You not have two eyes. You show me."

The guy, "No, I'm not gonna show ya. You don't want to see that."

Me: "Sorry, he's kind of grouchy with everyone, I don't know why."

The guy, "He'll grow out of it."

Seth, "He a pirate."
