Last night the YW came over and I taught them to how to make homemade cinnamon rolls. It was fun, the girls seemed to enjoy it. Seth was very grumpy last night, and probably just wanted my attention which was all taken up by a bunch of girls and bread dough. He whinned and he cried and he threw a couple of fits. Yeah, also very fun. Anyway, you can imagine how happy this already delightful child was after the girls left and took with them every single cinnamon roll. (Which was the idea, that's what I had planned) Still, my 3 year old was not impressed. I'd started another batch to show the girls how to activate and rehydrate the yeast. That batch I'd planned to make for my family as well as my counselor's families. I screwed it up though and had to toss the whole thing. So, I stayed up till 11 making another batch because I'd promised my o so sweet and grouchy boy he'd have one in the morning. Did I mention I missed my night out with my girlfriends?


I guess it was all worth it. Here he is this morning with a big smile and a thumbs up for his cinnamon roll.
