CONFESSION #6

How many times do you hear "Follow your instincts." or "My instincts are never wrong." (I just heard that in a movie :)) Anyway, my instincts are often wrong. IDK why, but they are. Here one example (just one, I have many). I was in college on my way home from my BF wedding in Logan. Pretty much the only place I'd ever driven was from Laramie to Evanston and back. So, driving to Logan was new for me. I think I followed someone there. Anyway, on the ride home I saw the Cheyenne sign and thought maybe I should take it I also blondly thought "but I dont' want to go to Cheyene" so I went with my instincts which told me not to take it. Ya, well many miles and a stop to ask directions later I learned my instincts were wrong. That's a saying I'm not aloud to say.

I'm sure you never made it to Cheyenne that day. :) It makes me think of the day I was talking to you on the phone as you were trying to leave Ogden. I like to be the driver and have someone else be the navigator. Happy travels.

To be fair you didn't want to end up in Cheyenne. I don't think your instincts are wrong as much as you might second guess them. That's what I do a lot of the time and then I think oh should have gone with my gut.
